Introduction

Industry leading models identifying business objectives for the next 5-10 years, against an actionable roadmap.Easymatics strategy services are underpinned by proven methods and decades or experience, enabling industries to make the right decisions, take advantage of opportunities, implement a sustainable and business aligned plan of activities and initiatives. We are uniquely positioned to bring the agility, experience, industry skills and methods to meet these goals.

The typical Strategic consulting model is a two-phase engagement, ranging between 6-12 weeks. Business reviews are conducted with senior business stakeholders to understand the business objectives for the next 5-10 years. The output of business reviews and offline research are aligned to the themes of the Target Operating Model (TOM) at Level 1-2 and designated as an ‘imperative’. The TOM is an actionable roadmap of aligned prioritised projects at Level 3.

Phase 1 - Framing

Objectives:

The object of Framing is to ensure that all stakeholders are aligned in their understanding of the scope of the program and gather operational gaps. Each stakeholder will have different needs and be in the various stages of projects which need to be understood and captured. The Framing Phase gives us a common terminology and view of gaps from all stakeholders.

It is important to recognise that there is no 'right' view, everyone’s opinion will be heard and captured, in parallel, we research offline existing business information for patterns. The outcome will be a high-level assessment of the business gaps and maturity in various capabilities.

Phase 2 - TOM

Objectives:

The TOM is a description of the desired state of the operations of a business. TOM also includes a roadmap over time that specifies how the organisation can realise efficiency improvements from "as-is" to “to-be" state based on the strategic business imperatives agreed in the Framing phase. The Roadmap will provide a list of projects depending on priority and dependency.

At Easymatics our Point of View is that "as-is" state is task that has little value to the business, so our approach is to apply industry best practice and identify deviation from these, the maturity of the business defines the to-be state, and is represented in a realistic roadmap.
